Okay, here it is. The biggest pleasure of living on or near Lake Norman:
I can't tell you the peace and pleasure there is in taking a non-motorized boat out onto the lake. You can sneak up on some great wildlife without disturbing them. I bring a camera in a ziplock bag, and can kind of float along and get a couple of wildlife shots while I'm out.
